Khalif Wyatt did some nice statistical things last night

But the Owls still lost. They still *bleeping* lost.

Still, check out these numbers from ESPN:

Wyatt is the first D-I player with 35 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals in a game since Ohio’s D.J. Cooper in December 2010 against St. Bonaventure. He’s the first player to do so in a regulation game since Alabama A&M’s Desmond Cambridge in January 2002 against Prairie View A&M. Wyatt is also the first player this season to score 35 points and make at least 15 free throws without a miss.

Honestly, there are about 3.5 players worth a damn on this team. Unless something magical happens this team is destined for a third-tier postseason tournament that even less people will care about than already do with this team.

This team needs a shot in the arm.

This team needs some buzz.

This team needs Black Jesus.
