Shane Nastahowski, a 6-foot-1, 221-pound linebacker from Milford Academy, was slated to join the football team as a preferred walk-on. A shoulder injury has put those designs on hold for now.
“My shoulder has been hurt for a little while, so I am going to rehab my shoulder before going there,” Nastahowski told CTPost.com. “I’m going back there in July and will be ready to try out for the team.”
Nastahowski registered 38 tackles and 22 assists in his postgraduate year at Milford.
Via The Inquirer’s Keith Pompey, the athletic department announced Temple Football’s spring practice schedule yesterday. Workouts begin on March 22 and will culminate with the annual Cherry and White game on April 20 at Edberg-Olson.
